Following the success of the Talei project, the client launched their latest development on the private island of Nananu-I-Ra in Fiji, the Chedi Nananu and the Boats at the Chedi. Luxury $4million apartments to be sold as 3 week timeshares with exclusive use of a luxury boat during the stay.

The site needs to reflect the upmarket and exclusive nature of the apartments catering for high net worth visitors. A simple yet sophisticated design was called for in keeping with the style of this luxurious development. The site need to be easy to navigate while being informative about this million dollar lifestyle experience.

The Chedi website also offers viewers an opportunity, as its sister site the Talei does, to register with the developer in order to receive further information. This strategy would result in capturing a database of possible leads for the sales team to follow up on.

A pictorial Flash masthead throughout the site rotates through beautiful imagery conveying the absolute luxury of this development. An easily understood navigation panel on the left always allows the user to know where they are at anytime.

Particular attention has been paid to the text and layout with small pictures illustrating the luxury on offer, result in legible and easy to read pages.

The site is built on simple HTML pages. However, to easily update the content and navigation, all button names and URLs are stored in an XML file. The Flash menu bar dynamically creates navigation buttons. A page or section can be taken out in seconds.
